Training

If you would like to carry out your own playground inspections, we can train your staff to the relevant level as certified by the Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII). Courses are available across the UK and Ireland.

What can we do?

Play Services Scotland can inspect your playgrounds to any schedule you wish but most of our clients prefer to carry out their own routine (daily or weekly) and operational (quarterly) inspections. In order to do this effectively, staff should be trained to the relevant level of competence as certificated by the Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII). Play Services Scotland can provide this training to all areas of Scotland and the North West of England.

Our training services

Each registration is valid for a period of three years and registered inspectors are included on the RPII’s approved list.

Our training is delivered to groups with a maximum of 20 participants, ensuring the right level of personal attention. Our courses are very practical in nature.

Alternatively, we can deliver training at the client’s location. If you have three or four people that need to be trained please talk to us about the opportunity to organise a combined training programme with other organisations nearby.
